ARROW has an immediate opening for a full-time Director of Business Development, in either its Altoona, State College, or Harrisburg, PA office, to research new business opportunities, maintain relationships and develop contracts for purposes of expanding markets and increasing revenue.
Primary Responsibilities
Builds and maintains client relationships.
Contacts potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
Plans and oversees new marketing initiatives.
Researches organizations to find new opportunities.
Finds and develops new markets and improves sales.
Attends conferences, meetings and industry events.
Coordinates marketing advertisements and promotional materials.
Oversees contracting by developing quotes and proposals for clients.
Develops goals for the development team and business growth ensuring they are met.
Trains personnel and assists team members with skills development.
Skills/Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and networking skills.
Ability to manage complex projects and to multi-task.
Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive and handle uncertainty.
Experience in sales, marketing or real estate is preferred.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Must have reliable transportation and a valid unencumbered driver’s license.
